CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A three-day book exhibition was inaugurated at the Nalanda Central Library of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication. The programme was opened by the university’s Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Vijay Manohar Tiwari, who lit the ceremonial lamp.
The exhibition features books displayed by various reputed publishers and booksellers. Along with books related to courses run by the university, titles on journalism, mass communication, media management, electronic and print media, artificial intelligence, Indian knowledge tradition, computer science, library science, and Hindi and English literature are on display.
University Registrar P. Shashikala, Dean Academics Manish Maheshwari, Dean Student Welfare Avinash Vajpayee, Monica Verma, Kanchan Bhatia, Rakhi Tiwari, Aarti Sarang and Manisha Verma, along with a large number of teachers and students, were present at the inaugural event.
Students showed strong enthusiasm and interest over the availability of books on various subjects at one place. The book exhibition will remain open for the university’s teachers, research scholars and students.
