CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal : A special program dedicated to the art and culture of Madhya Pradesh, “Srijan Sadhana – Art Exhibition and Discussion”, is being held on 21st August 2025 from 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM at the Lalit Kala Gallery, Ravindra Bhavan, Bhopal. The event is jointly organized by Tagore Kala Kendra, Tagore School of Fine Arts, Scope Global Skills University, Rabindranath Tagore University, and Likhandra Art Committee, Bhopal. This program is being held under the initiative “Vishvarang.”
The exhibition will showcase outstanding artworks by over 25 senior art teachers from Bhopal, along with discussions on art. On this occasion, a book by Dr. Ankita, based on her research, titled “Contribution of Art Teachers Working in Bhopal’s Art Educational Institutions to Indian Painting – A Study (from Inception to 2014)” will also be released.
The aim of this art event is to respectfully highlight the contributions of current and former painting teachers working in Bhopal’s art educational institutions. It also symbolizes cultural dialogue and gratitude, emphasizing the guru-shishya tradition and the rich heritage of art education.
Prominent art teachers participating in the exhibition include: Sw. Sushil Paul, Sw. Asha Spre, Sheelchand Jain, Sw. Laxman Bhand, Ramchandra Bhavsar, Devi Dayal Dhiman, Girdhari Lal Chauragade, Laxmi Narayan Bhavsar, Sacchida Nagdev, Rajaram Sharma, Ishrat Naz, Sushma Srivastava, Bhairulal Singrodia, Manjusha Ganguli, Rashmi Joshi, Laxmi Srivastava, Rekha Srivastava, Rekha Dhiman, Archana Mukherjee, Anjali Pandey, Aparna Anil, Alok Bhavsar, Veena Chaube, Kirti Singh Thakur, Pratima Raikwar, and Vinay Spre.
The chief coordinators of the event are Arjun Kumar Singh and Ankita, who are working to make this exhibition a rich and immersive experience for the art community, students, and art enthusiasts. The exhibition will remain open daily from 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
