Three-Day Workshop for Microbiology Students at AIIMS Bhopal.

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the guidance of Executive Director Ajay Singh, the Department of Microbiology at AIIMS Bhopal organized a three-day practical workshop for PG students pursuing MD in Microbiology from various institutions across India. The workshop is being conducted under the aegis of the Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists, with 24 participants taking part.

Inaugurating the program, Executive Director Ajay Singh highlighted the importance of such workshops in updating essential skills for state-of-the-art patient care. He also appreciated the organizers for bringing all relevant and advanced diagnostic techniques under one roof to enhance the quality of patient care. The workshop will cover advanced topics such as MALDI-ToF-MS, Vitek System, Rapid Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (RAST), Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM), and Next Generation Sequencing.
