CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Film director Vivek Aanchaliya and actor Amit Sial announced that the next film and Tikdam 2 will be shot in Madhya Pradesh, with opportunities for local artists from the state. Both film personalities shared this while encouraging artists and students from the film and theater industries, offering guidance on building a career in cinema during Expert Shots 4.0. The fourth edition of The Expert Shot, organized by MP Tourism at Kushabhau Thakre International Auditorium, provided students with lessons in acting and direction.

Principal Secretary of Tourism and Culture, Shiv Shekhar Shukla, mentioned that under the leadership of Tourism and Culture Minister Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi, Madhya Pradesh is developing a creative economy, where content is king. This has emerged as a new field, elevated by web series, OTT, and online platforms. The Madhya Pradesh School of Drama is being run to refine the skills of theater artists in the state. In addition to acting, various courses related to the film industry, such as script writing and direction, will also be introduced, ensuring that the film industry will see new stars emerging from Madhya Pradesh in the future.

“Acting should not be acting but truth,” said actor Amit Sial, who shared his experiences and struggles with the students. He advised them not to feel pressured by acting, to act naturally, and to trust themselves. He encouraged them to take on different roles to enhance their personality, to self-evaluate their performances, and to improve.

Film director Vivek Aanchaliya emphasized that in the industry, one’s identity can only be made through passion and hard work. Tikam Joshi, Director of the Madhya Pradesh School of Drama, stated that events like Expert Shots will benefit local artists and students, providing them with valuable guidance from successful film personalities that will be useful not only in the film world but also in personal life.

Bidisha Mukherjee, Additional Managing Director of the Tourism Board, highlighted the success of previous Expert Shot editions and the benefits received by artists from Madhya Pradesh. Deputy Director of the Film Tourism Board, Ram Kumar Tiwari, gave the vote of thanks.

Siddharth Chaturvedi, Chancellor of SCOPE Global Skills University, mentioned that the film Tikdam should be shown to every child. He added that in addition to the animation and visual effects programs currently running at SCOPE Global Skills University, courses related to the film industry will also be introduced in the near future.

The event was attended by students and artists from the Madhya Pradesh School of Drama, SCOPE Global Skills University, as well as film enthusiasts.
