CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In Bhopal district, Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh conducted a review meeting of timeline letters, instructing all SDMs to ensure strict action against illegal constructions in their respective areas. Special attention will be given to illegal constructions around the Bada Talab area of Bhopal.
Considering the summer season, Collector Singh also ordered mandatory compliance with the prescribed SOPs for fire safety management and the prevention of stubble burning incidents. He emphasized making the Jal Ganga Conservation Campaign, initiated for the protection and enhancement of water structures in the district, effective and results-oriented through public participation. Under this campaign, renovation and repair work of old water structures will begin. Separate action plans were also directed for the conservation of major rivers such as Betwa and Kolans, along with other water sources.
The Collector instructed officials of the Municipal Corporation and District Panchayat to pay special attention to drinking water supply and to promptly resolve issues in rural areas. The meeting included a review of the CM Helpline, and all departments were directed to ensure the speedy resolution of pending complaints.
Under the “Sankalp Se Samadhan” campaign, Collector Singh instructed the organization of camps at block and district levels to resolve maximum applications satisfactorily and ensure benefits reach eligible beneficiaries. Preparations for wheat procurement at support prices, arrangements at procurement centers, and transport and storage readiness were also reviewed.
The meeting was attended by the District Panchayat CEO, ADM, all SDMs, and officials from various departments.
