CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The controversy over adulteration in the sacred Tirupati Venkateswara Temple’s Laddu Prasad has intensified! The CBI Special Investigation Team (SIT) has arrested four accused in the case.
✅ The arrested individuals include key officials from Bhola Baba Dairy, Vaishnavi Dairy, and AR Dairy.
✅ They are accused of irregularities in ghee supply and forging documents.
✅ CBI investigations revealed that substandard ghee was used in making the laddus.
✅ The SIT report also exposed manipulations in the tender process.
All the accused will be presented in court on Monday.
👉 CBI and FSSAI teams conducted the joint investigation.
The controversy began when the TDP party alleged that ghee adulteration happened under the YSR Congress government. Lab tests confirmed shocking findings, leading to a shift in ghee suppliers, with Karnataka Milk Federation now supplying the ghee.
