Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: To ensure impartial, fearless, and peaceful conduct of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, a foot flag march was conducted from the Central Library and a vehicle flag march was organized from Lal Parade Ground, involving approximately 500 personnel and 70 vehicles, covering sensitive areas within a radius of about 40 kilometers. The foot flag march, led by Police Commissioner Mr. Harinarayanachari Mishra along with Additional Police Commissioners Mr. Avdhesh Goswami and Mr. Pankaj Srivastava, commenced from the Central Library ground at 11:30 am, passing through various areas including Itwara, Budhwara Chowk, Talaiya Thana Chowk, Lily Talkies, Jinshi Tiraha, and Shabban Chowk, concluding at Lal Parade Ground. The foot march covered sensitive areas within a radius of approximately 5 kilometers and involved around 500 officers/staff, including District Police Force, QRF, SAF, among others.
The vehicle flag march, led by Police Commissioner Mr. Harinarayanachari Mishra, commenced from Lal Parade Ground at approximately 12:30 pm, passing through various areas including Malviya Nagar, Roshanpura, Link Road 1, Arjun Nagar Tiraha, 5 Number Staff, 6 Number, Subhash School, Manasarovar Tiraha, Pragati, Board Office, Chetak Bridge, Rachna Nagar, Gautam Nagar, Subhash Nagar, and ending back at Lal Parade Ground, covering a distance of approximately 35 kilometers.
The foot flag march included vehicles such as Rudra, Vajra, Thana Mobile, Gypsy, and buses, totaling about 70 vehicles, with around 500 officers/staff, including District Police Force, QRF, and SAF personnel. The main objective of the flag march was to inspire the general public to vote fearlessly and impartially and to maintain a secure environment in the city while creating a sense of security among the public, thereby enabling them to vote responsibly and impartially amidst a fearless atmosphere, and to deter the creation of a climate of fear among miscreants, goons, and antisocial elements.
