On this issue, the newly appointed and dynamic Energy Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Rakesh Shukla, has initiated the Save Birds Mission from his hometown legislative assembly, Mehgaon. He has named this program “Fill Water Bowls and Feed Birds.” On April 1, he appealed to the residents of the area to make this mission successful on the occasion of his birthday. And it is indeed becoming successful.
Supremo Subhash Thapak of the Gormi Mandal of the Mehgaon constituency explains that Minister Rakesh Shukla has had a desire since childhood to enhance environmental heritage. He gives priority to works of public welfare alongside his religious inclination. Therefore, on his birthday, he pledged to save the speechless birds first. Under this initiative, the Mehgaon constituency is being presented as a role model throughout the state. The initiative has begun with the Gormi Mandal. Bird feeders are being hung at every booth in the Mehgaon assembly constituency so that speechless birds can be saved in this scorching heat.
Meanwhile, Rakesh Shukla, the Cabinet Minister in the Madhya Pradesh government and MLA from the Mehgaon constituency, expresses gratitude to the people of his constituency for joining this mission through Janata Janardan. He says, “For the good wishes that the people of my constituency have given me by joining this campaign on my birthday, I thank them. My mission to save the speechless birds will continue incessantly.”
