CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: “Along with multi-tracking and infrastructure works, the West Central Railway also carries out various track renewal activities under maintenance operations. Under the guidance of General Manager Shobhana Bandopadhyay and with the coordination of engineering department officials and staff, all track renewal works are being executed with high intensity. These track renewal activities include Complete Track Renewal (CTR), Through Rail Renewal (TRR), Through Sleeper Renewal (TSR), Through Turnout Renewal (TTR), Deep Screening, etc.
It is noteworthy that all these track renewal works are safety-related and are carried out only after taking traffic blocks. West Central Railway has executed these safety-related works with intensity, resulting in 107.46 track kilometers of rail renewal, 73.22 track kilometers of sleeper renewal, 153 units of turnout renewal, 129 units of turnout, and 181.23 track kilometers of deep screening within three months of the financial year. In June alone, the following works were completed: 33.33 track kilometers of rail renewal, 24.29 track kilometers of sleeper renewal, 42 units of turnout renewal, 43 units of turnout, and 56.89 track kilometers of deep screening.
The West Central Railway is progressing towards its set goals and remains committed to safety-related works.”
