CNN Central News & Networks / ITDC India ePress / ITDC News /Agencies/ Bhopal: New Delhi. Trade organisations have written to Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, placing their demands regarding a proposed rally. The organisations appealed to the leaders to keep in mind the possible impact on business activities during and because of the rally.
Trade organisations said business activities could be affected during large political events, with possible disruption to traffic arrangements, access to markets and the operation of shops. They said this causes difficulties for traders, employees and the general public. Keeping this in view, the organisations have raised their concerns over the rally through the letter.
The organisations demanded coordination with the local administration before the rally is organised so that the functioning of markets and commercial establishments is not affected. However, the detailed points of the demands made in the letter, as well as confirmation of the rally’s venue and date, could not be verified from the available information.
