CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In AIIMS Bhopal, a tree plantation program was organized today as part of the cleanliness fortnight running until April 15th. Under the leadership of AIIMS Bhopal’s Executive Director Ajay Singh, tree plantation was carried out with participants from various departments of the institution.

Emphasizing on environmental conservation and community welfare, Professor Ajay Singh highlighted the importance of cleanliness and greenery not only within the premises of AIIMS Bhopal but also in its surrounding areas. He stated that a green environment contributes significantly to public health improvement.

Professor Ajay Singh stated, “Today’s tree plantation campaign is a symbol of our commitment to promote a healthy and sustainable environment. Trees play a crucial role in providing us with oxygen, absorbing water, and reducing pollution. By planting trees, we contribute not only to the environment around us but also to the well-being of future generations.”

Furthermore, Prof. Singh urged all participants to extend the sentiment of tree plantation beyond institutional boundaries and take the initiative to plant trees around their residences. He emphasized that individual efforts in planting and nurturing trees can make a significant difference in promoting environmental conservation and dealing with climate change collectively.

Employees, students, and members of the local community participated in this program.
