CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India ePress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the Madhya Pradesh Government's transfer policy 2026-27, the Tribal Affairs and Scheduled Caste Welfare Department has issued detailed guidelines regarding transfer applications. According to the order issued by Tribal Affairs Commissioner Tarun Rathi, applications for voluntary transfer will be accepted online on the e-HRMS portal till June 8, 2026.
According to the order, applicants will be able to choose a maximum of 15 offices/institutions for transfer. It will be mandatory to upload the necessary supporting documents for the reasons mentioned in the application in PDF format, with a maximum size of 2 MB. Once an application is submitted, no modification of any kind will be allowed.
The department has clarified that if incorrect information is provided in the application, or if any irregularity is found during verification, disciplinary action will be taken against the concerned employee and the verifying officer. The vacancies shown on the portal will be temporary and may be updated from time to time.
The order also states that transfers of secondary and higher secondary teachers will be made only against vacancies in their respective subjects. At the same time, administrative and voluntary transfers in the primary, middle, and higher secondary teacher cadres will not be carried out during the probation period.
Tribal Department Commissioner Tarun Rathi has directed all district officers to enter and verify correct information about all vacant posts on the e-HRMS portal by June 5, 2026. The responsibility for entry and verification of vacancies will rest with the concerned office head, DDO and office admin. Merely applying online will not guarantee the right to transfer. The final decision on accepting or rejecting applications will be taken at the headquarters level, and the government's decision in this regard will be treated as final. This order will apply to officers, employees and teachers of the Tribal Affairs and Scheduled Caste Welfare Department across the state.
