CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The “Tribal Pride Day” was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Government Maharani Laxmi Bai Girls Postgraduate Autonomous College in Bhopal on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda. A “Floral Tribute Program” was organized to pay homage to Dharati Aaba, Lord Birsa Munda.

The event featured a live broadcast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s virtual address from the Shahdol ceremony. Additionally, the students and faculty at the college witnessed live telecasts of addresses by Honorable Governor Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.

The celebration was graced by the presence of Commissioner of Higher Education Nishant Barbade, Chairman of the Janbhagidari Committee Ajay Narang, Officer on Special Duty Dhirendra Shukla, College Principal Ajay Kumar Agrawal, and Program Coordinator Savita Bhargava. Faculty members and students of the college also actively participated in the event.

The program not only commemorated the struggles and contributions of Lord Birsa Munda but also called for drawing inspiration from his life to guide society in a new direction.
