CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A condolence meeting was organized at the Bhavabhuti Auditorium of the Central Sanskrit University, Bhopal campus to pay tribute to the tourists martyred in the terrorist attack that took place in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir.

Campus Director Ramakant Pandey spoke about Kashmir, stating that it is the original source of world culture. Various Indian disciplines have originated in Kashmir. The region saw the flourishing of grammar, philosophy, literature, and other fields of knowledge. Since ancient times, people from as far as the southernmost parts of India have traveled to Kashmir, and there is ample evidence to support this.

Kashmir, a land that once ignited the flame of Indian culture, witnessed a massacre where people were killed based on their religion. This is a deep blow to Indian culture and a highly condemnable act. It is an unbearable assault on every Indian. The Central Sanskrit University, Bhopal campus condemned this heinous act, calling it inhuman, and emphasized that there is no place for such cruelty in the land once known as Sharada.

Students, faculty members, and staff of the campus observed a moment of silence to pay tribute to the departed souls.
