CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A grand cultural and literary program was organized by the Department of Hindi at Shri Satya Sai Women’s College, Bhopal, on the occasion of Tulsi Jayanti on Thursday, July 31. The event commenced with a devotional Ram Stuti by student Ms. Krishna, which filled the atmosphere with spiritual energy.
The main highlight of the event was the ‘Manas Quiz’, in which three teams named Ganga, Narmada, and Godavari participated. The quiz competition was held in three rounds, with questions based on the life of Goswami Tulsidas, the Ramcharitmanas, and the Sundarkand. Team Narmada secured the first place, while Team Godavari stood second.

This was followed by a dramatic performance titled ‘Tulsidas’, in which students enacted inspiring episodes from the life of Goswami Tulsidas through lively performances.
On this occasion, the Director Dr. Pratibha Singh, Principal Dr. Archana Srivastava, Law Principal Dr. Anju Bajpai, Vice-Principal Dr. Renu Mishra, along with all faculty members and a large number of students, were present.

Principal Dr. Srivastava praised the students’ performances and described the Ramcharitmanas as a guiding light of Indian culture. Law Principal Dr. Bajpai appreciated the enthusiasm and presentations of the students. Director Dr. Singh described Ramcharitmanas as a scripture that gives direction to life, and through the story of Mother Shabari, she emphasized values of nature love and devotion.

At the conclusion of the event, the college’s annual magazine ‘Divya’ (2024–25) was officially released by the Director, Principal, Law Principal, and Vice-Principal.
The program concluded successfully under the dynamic coordination of Head of Hindi Department Dr. Anupama Chauhan and her team – Dr. Manisha Tripathi, Dr. Anuradha Singh, and Dr. Anita Tiwari.
