CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Anupam Kher is currently in the spotlight for his film ‘Tumko Meri Kasam’ which hit theatres on March 21. While the film received positive reviews from critics, it has been completely rejected by the audience. From the first day of release, the movie’s earnings have remained in the lakhs. Now, the third-day box office figures have been revealed, showing that the film is struggling at the box office.
According to box office tracker Sacnilk, Anupam Kher’s ‘Tumko Meri Kasam’ earned ₹25 lakh on its third day (Sunday). With this, the film’s total box office collection stands at ₹66 lakh. It had a weak start with just ₹15 lakh on Day 1, and on the second day, it earned ₹26 lakh. Thus, in three days, the film has not even crossed the ₹1 crore mark, clearly indicating its poor performance at the box office.
The film stars Adah Sharma in the lead role, alongside Esha Deol and Ishwak Singh, who have also delivered strong performances. It is a family drama inspired by the life of Dr. Ajay Murdia, founder of Indira IVF. The film is directed by Vikram Bhatt, known for hits like Footpath, Raaz, Kasoor, and 1921. It is produced by Mahesh Bhatt, who brings his creative force to the project.
