Mumbai. After the firing incident outside Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s house, a case has now emerged in which actor Tusshar Kapoor received a threatening call demanding extortion of Rs 5 crore. The caller allegedly identified himself as Harry Boxer, linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, and demanded Rs 5 crore from the actor. Tusshar Kapoor informed Mumbai Police, after which the investigation was handed over to the Anti-Extortion Cell and the Crime Branch.

Important information has emerged in the police’s initial investigation into the case. The Crime Branch technical team examined the audio recording of the threatening call and matched the voice with Harry Boxer’s official audio sample available with the police. According to senior police officials, the two voices did not match. Investigators now suspect that someone may have used the Bishnoi gang’s name to create fear and extort money.

Police are currently trying to identify the caller and the person who sent the threatening audio. The initial investigation has not confirmed Harry Boxer’s involvement.

The case has come to light at a time when, in October, firing took place on Tiger Shroff’s car in Mumbai’s Juhu area. His driver and another person were injured in that incident. It was claimed that the Bishnoi gang had taken responsibility for the incident. Amid such incidents emerging one after another, discussion over the security of film personalities has also intensified.
