CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The two-day cultural festival “Pravah” 2024, hosted by Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal, offers students a platform to showcase their cultural performances, creative talents, and athletic skills. Scheduled to take place on November 29 and 30, 2024, the event will feature a wide array of activities, including competitions like Treasure Hunt, Rangoli, Painting, and Best Out of Waste; cultural performances such as Solo Dance, Group Dance, Solo Song, and Group Song; and creative contests like Fashion Show, Reel Making, and Open Mic. Students from UIT, UTD RGPV, and RGPV Polytechnic will participate in this grand festival.
The logo for “Pravah” was unveiled today at the university’s administrative building by RGPV Vice-Chancellor Rajeev Tripathi, Registrar Mohan Sen, and event convener Dr. Ravindra Patel, in the presence of Mahesh Pawar, Shikha Agarwal, and students from the university.
Dr. Ravindra Patel shared details about the event, stating that the inaugural ceremony will take place on November 29 at 10:00 AM. Competitions will run from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on both days. The closing ceremony, scheduled for 4:30 PM on November 30, will feature the distribution of prizes to the winners.
The festival aims to encourage students to explore their creativity, cultural awareness, and leadership abilities. It brings together students from various university departments on a common platform to celebrate art and culture.
The festival’s name, “Pravah,” symbolizes continuity and flow in life and cultural activities. The logo reflects this theme, with a flowing shape symbolizing energy and continuity, and a keyboard shape representing music and art. The vibrant color palette signifies new beginnings, enthusiasm, creativity, and sustainable growth.
