CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A two-day Hindi workshop was organised by the Official Language Department in the Bhopal Division of West Central Railway under the leadership and guidance of Additional Divisional Railway Manager and Additional Chief Official Language Officer Abhiram Khare. Twenty employees from various departments of the division participated in the workshop.
The objective of the workshop was to provide employees with information on official language rules, acts and award schemes, and to promote the effective and practical use of Hindi in official work. During the sessions, participants were given detailed information on official language rules, acts, administrative terminology and techniques for working in Hindi on computers through Unicode.
On the first day of the workshop, Senior Official Language Officer Santram Maraskole, who came from the West Central Railway headquarters in Jabalpur, delivered a detailed lecture on official language rules and acts. Senior Translator Bipul Mandal from the headquarters, Jabalpur, provided technical information on working in Hindi on computers through Unicode.

On the second day, Bhopal Division Official Language Officer Brijendra Kumar and Senior Translator Deepak Patil guided the employees on official language implementation, effective use of official Hindi and other official language-related subjects.
During the workshop, participants interacted with subject experts, got answers to their queries and expressed their commitment to making greater use of Hindi in official work.
