CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A two-day international conference was inaugurated with grandeur at Madhyanchal Professional University (MPU), Bhopal, on 22 and 23 May 2026.

More than 200 researchers, academicians, experts and students from India and abroad participated enthusiastically in the conference. During the programme, over 70 research papers were presented from fields including agriculture, pharmacy, science and IT, management, engineering, arts and education. The papers led to detailed discussions on contemporary issues, innovations and research-based ideas.

IAS officer Mrs Disha Shivhare Nagvanshi attended the event as the chief guest. In her address, she highlighted the importance of research, innovation and global academic collaboration, and said education and research are a strong foundation for the development of any society and nation. She encouraged students and researchers to continue moving forward with new ideas, modern technologies and research-based education.

Special guest Dr Amjad Ahmed, former State Minister of the Maldives, described education and research as an important means for the overall development of society and called upon students to work in the public interest.

Prof. Tripti Jain of IIT Indore, in her address, stressed the need for multidisciplinary research and innovation, saying that quality research can offer effective solutions to future challenges. She encouraged researchers to pursue practical, innovation-driven and impactful research.

On the occasion, Madhyanchal Professional University Executive Director Ms Isha Patel and Vice-Chancellor Dr Rajesh Kumar Rai welcomed all guests and participants. They said the conference would play an important role in promoting research, knowledge exchange and innovation, and would prove to be an effective platform for dialogue and learning at the global level for students and researchers.

Teachers, students and researchers from various departments were present in significant numbers at the programme. In the upcoming sessions of the conference, expert lectures, technical sessions and research presentations on different subjects will be held.
