CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A two-day interview skilling workshop was organized at Scope Global Skills University (SGSU) under the joint aegis of the Training and Placement Cell and the School of Management Studies, in collaboration with Grant Thornton India.
Grant Thornton India is a leading global company providing independent accounting, consulting, and financial advisory services. The objective of this workshop was to develop managerial skills among students, foster a positive outlook toward career building, enhance language proficiency, and strengthen collaborative work culture.
The program was attended by SGSU Chancellor Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Vijay Singh, Registrar Dr. Sitesh Kumar Sinha, Head of Training & Placement Dheeraj Prasad, Head of School of Management Studies Dr. Kumar Siddharth, and Head of School of Banking, Finance & Commerce Dr. Neeta Vaidyande.
During the program, the Grant Thornton team conducted interactive sessions and activities to familiarize students with the requirements of the corporate world. Students participated enthusiastically and demonstrated their corporate readiness and potential through excellent performance in the discussion sessions.
SGSU Chancellor Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi stated that the university continually strives to provide students not only with academic knowledge but also with practical skills aligned with the real needs of the industry. Such programs instill confidence in students and prepare them for the corporate world.
SGSU Vice-Chancellor Dr. Vijay Singh and Registrar Dr. Sitesh Kumar Sinha added that in today’s competitive era, interview skills, effective communication, and a positive outlook are essential for students. Participation in such programs with reputed industry organizations provides students with clear guidance for career building and better opportunities.
