CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Annual Cultural Festival “Pravaah 2.0 – 2025” of UIT-RGPV Bhopal Kicks Off with Enthusiasm

The University Institute of Technology, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (UIT–RGPV), Bhopal, inaugurated its annual cultural festival, Pravaah 2.0 – 2025, in a vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere. The program commenced with Saraswati Vandana and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. On this occasion, RGPV Registrar Prof. Mohan Sen, Director of UIT–RGPV Prof. Sudhir Singh Bhadoria, Cultural Program Coordinator Ravindra Patel, faculty members, and students were prominently present.

Addressing the gathering, Registrar Mohan Sen said, “Pravaah 2.0 is not just a cultural festival but an effective platform that encourages leadership, collaboration, and expression among students. Events like these make the academic environment of the university more vibrant.”

Director Sudhir Singh Bhadoria highlighted, “This year, student participation and creative energy have been remarkable. Platforms like Pravaah 2.0 provide students with opportunities to learn, perform, and channel their talent in new directions.”

Cultural Program Coordinator Ravindra Patel added, “The various activities of the festival empower students’ creativity and teamwork. We are confident that these experiences will positively impact their overall personality development.”

The festival began with a theatrical competition, featuring 43 male and 21 female students, with themes focused on college life and horror. The judges included Prof. Jyotsna Chauhan, Prof. Swati Gupta, Dr. Raju Barskar, and Dr. Anjana Din, and the event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Vinita Bhatnagar.

In the afternoon session, a painting competition was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Aruna Rawat, where 14 participants presented creative artworks on festivals, mythological stories, rituals, and nature. Evaluation was carried out by Dr. R.K. Chidar, Dr. Asmita Moghe, and Dr. Rashmi Nigam.

Under Pravaah 2.0, a total of 10 major competitions, including fashion show, treasure hunt, rangoli, painting, best out of waste, dance, and drama, are scheduled on 21st and 22nd November.

The first day of Pravaah 2.0 concluded successfully with an enthusiastic atmosphere, remarkable participation, and a variety of cultural performances.
