CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the Lok Sabha Elections – 2024, the second training of the polling team will be conducted at the seven training centers in the city of Bhopal until April 30th, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Approximately 80 master trainers have been appointed for providing the training, which aims to ensure the smooth conduct of the Lok Sabha Elections – 2024. All members of the polling team, presiding officers, and polling officers of teams 01, 02, and 03 will be trained. The training will be held at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal, Model Higher Secondary School, Ravindra Bhawan Old Auditorium, Industrial Training Institute (I.T.I.) Govindpura Bhopal, Auditorium State Livestock Training Institute, Vaishali Nagar-Bhopal, and Coordination Building (Apex Bank), T.T. Nagar Bhopal.
Assistant Nodal Officer Sandeep Srivastava explained that the schedule for the training will be as follows: the first attendance for training from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM, EDC-related activities from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM, theoretical training from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, a break from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM, training on EVM/VVPAT for batch-wise division from 1:15 PM to 3:00 PM, examination from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM, and remaining EDC work from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM. The second attendance will be from 4:00 PM onwards.
Assistant Nodal Officer Shri Srivastava further stated that out of the total allocated presiding officers and polling officers of teams 01, 02, and 03 – 1676, 1649 were present, 27 officers and employees were absent, and training was received by 14 additional employees. After the training, an examination was conducted from 3:00 PM, and officers and employees who failed the examination will have to retake it. Necessary action will be taken against the absent employees, and they will be able to receive training on the upcoming days.
