CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Union Bank of India celebrated its 107th Foundation Day. On this occasion, the Zonal Office and Regional Office Bhopal organized a grand event to commemorate more than a century of trust, innovation, and excellence in banking services.
The Foundation Day was celebrated as a festival in all offices and branches across the country, reflecting the bank’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer service. The Central Office, Mumbai also organized a grand ceremony at the Jio World Convention Centre, BKC, Mumbai.
- Nagaraju (IAS), Secretary, Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance, Government of India, attended the event as the Chief Guest. The program was also graced by the bank’s Managing Director and CEO Ashish Pandey; Executive Directors Nitesh Ranjan, Ramsubramaniam S., and Sanjay Rudra; directors of the bank’s board; senior officers; employees; and esteemed customers.
On this occasion, Union Bank of India launched the Union e-Biz App to simplify business transactions and unveiled a new version of the Union Ease App for retail customers, aimed at enhancing customer experience and supporting financial empowerment.
In addition, the bank announced the opening of 51 new branches in key areas to strengthen its availability and reach.
