CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Union Bank of India, Bhopal Zone, and the Madhya Pradesh Police today signed an important MoU for a comprehensive salary tie-up arrangement. This agreement further strengthens the cooperation between the two institutions in providing better, safer, and more convenient banking services to police personnel.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Assistant Director General of Police, Madhya Pradesh, Mr. Anil Kumar; Assistant Inspector General of Police, Ms. Irmeen Shah, PHQ Bhopal; and Deputy Zonal Head of Union Bank of India, Bhopal Zone, Mr. Himanshu Vyas.
Under this partnership, Union Bank of India will offer several specially designed financial products, concessional facilities, and additional services exclusively for police personnel. These include salary account-related benefits, easy and concessional loan provisions, security insurance, digital banking services, and other premium benefits.
The bank described this as an essential step toward ensuring financial upliftment and convenience for the state’s security personnel, while the police department termed it a significant agreement that will strengthen the welfare of its employees.
