CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with a farsighted vision, has introduced a new education policy that considers all the necessities for the coming 25 years. Instead of just awarding degrees, the new education policy emphasizes the 360-degree development of the youth. Under the new education policy, children will be taught both the ‘syllabus of academics’ and the ‘syllabus of life.’ The new education policy aims to develop a habit of ‘out-of-the-box’ thinking in students, replacing ‘orthodox thinking.’
Today’s generation is one of the internet, artificial intelligence, and data analytics, which is why the new education policy includes provisions for practical learning, skill development, and vocational training. To achieve success in life, having a goal is essential. A life without a goal is carried away by time, whereas if you live life with a goal and follow the set path, you will steer time.
Madhya Pradesh was the first to take the initiative to translate engineering and medical science curricula into the mother tongue. At the Prime Minister’s College of Excellence, students will have the opportunity to study subjects like biotechnology, computer science, culture, and arts according to their interests.
Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the Prime Minister’s College of Excellence, which has been established in all 55 districts of Madhya Pradesh, from Indore. The event was attended by many dignitaries, including the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav.
In his address at the inauguration ceremony, Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a goal before all citizens to build such an India that by 2047, when 100 years of India’s independence are completed, our country will be number one in the world in every field. He mentioned that building such an India cannot be achieved without strengthening the foundation of education, which is why Modi, in line with his visionary thinking, introduced the new education policy in 2020.
Amit Shah said that the new education policy has been visualized to meet all the needs of the coming 25 years. The new education policy will enable Indian students to compete with students worldwide over the next 25 years while also connecting them with our thousands of years old culture and languages.
