CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A team from the Office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO), Bhopal, shut down the Batra Homeopathic Clinic (Hair and Skin) operating in the MP Nagar area. The action was taken after the clinic failed to produce the registration and license issued by the CMHO office during inspection.
The inspection team instructed the clinic operator not to run the facility without proper registration under the provisions of the Madhya Pradesh Upcharyagrih and Rujopchar Related Establishments (Registration and Licensing) Act, 1973 and Rules 1997 (as amended in 2021).
The Health Department team has been continuously conducting inspections of private hospitals and clinics. A few days ago, Bhopal Collector Kaushlendra Vikram Singh had also directed officials to inspect clinics operating without registration.
Chief Medical and Health Officer of Bhopal, Dr. Manish Sharma, stated that a special team has been formed to verify the degrees of medical practitioners, their system of medicine, council registration, compliance under the MP Upcharyagrih and Rujopchar Establishment Act, Biomedical Waste Management Act, and Gumasta (trade) license.
