CNN Central News & Networks / ITDC India ePress / ITDC News /Agencies/ Bhopal: CNN Central News and Networks / ITDC India ePress / ITDC News / Agencies: The weather pattern in Uttar Pradesh is changing rapidly. The impact of cold has started increasing in the morning and at night, while dense fog in several cities is adding to people’s difficulties. Fog conditions have been recorded in around 10 cities of the state, including Lucknow. At the same time, the maximum temperature in 20 districts has fallen below 20 degrees Celsius. With this change in weather, people have started taking out warm clothes.

In the state capital Lucknow and several other cities, reduced visibility in the morning means motorists need to exercise caution on the roads. Amid the weather change, the minimum temperature is expected to fall by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius over the next two days. However, with sunshine during the day, there is currently no likelihood of any major change in the maximum temperature. According to the Meteorological Department, weather may remain dry in most parts of the state for the next few days, and the possibility of rain is low.

On the other hand, air pollution in Noida and Ghaziabad in western Uttar Pradesh has increased people’s concerns. Air quality in these cities is being recorded in the poor to very poor category. Reports say the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Noida has crossed 300, while pollution levels in Ghaziabad also remain worrying. In such a situation, people facing respiratory problems, children and the elderly have been advised to take special precautions.

The combined impact of cooler weather and rising air pollution is affecting daily life. Along with using warm clothes in the morning and evening, people in NCR should avoid stepping out unnecessarily during periods of pollution.
