CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has changed the dates of the Physical Efficiency Test for direct recruitment-2025 to Constable Civil Police and equivalent posts. In view of continuous rain and waterlogging at some examination centres, the test has been postponed at several centres.

According to the board, the examination scheduled for October 1, 2026, at nine centres will now be held on October 8, 2026. These include centres in Fatehpur, Bareilly, Moradabad, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Azamgarh and Mirzapur.

Further date changes have also been made for the Azamgarh, Gorakhpur and Meerut centres. At these centres, the October 3 examination will now be held on October 9 and the October 4 examination on October 10, while examinations scheduled from October 5 onward will be conducted as per the original programme.

Meanwhile, the examination will continue as scheduled at six centres, including Prayagraj, Jhansi, Lucknow, Rae Bareli and Aligarh. The examination venue has also been changed for candidates at the Bareilly centre. The examination will not be held at the Kanpur and Fatehpur centres, and the candidates concerned will receive information about the revised centre and date in their new admit cards.

The board has advised candidates to download the revised admit card and carefully check the examination centre, date and time. The old admit card will not be valid for candidates whose date or centre has been changed.
