The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has released the schedule for the physical efficiency test for direct recruitment-2025 to Constable Civil Police and equivalent posts. The physical efficiency test for recruitment to 32,679 posts will begin on October 1, 2026. In most districts, the test will be held until October 7, while in Moradabad, Meerut and Ghaziabad it will continue until October 8.
According to the board, only candidates who qualified in the written examination and then cleared document verification and the physical standard test will be eligible to take part in this stage. The written examination was held on June 8, 9 and 10, 2026, and its result was released on July 31.
In the physical efficiency test, male candidates will have to complete a 4.8-km run in 25 minutes, while female candidates will have to complete a 2.4-km run in 14 minutes. Lists of successful and unsuccessful candidates will be prepared at the test venue, and the result will be displayed on the notice board the same day.
The board said each candidate’s admit card will carry details of the examination centre, date and time. The admit card has been made available about one week before the examination. Candidates have been instructed to reach the designated centre on time with their admit card and required documents.
