CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: This is important news for young candidates preparing for government jobs in Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has started the application process for recruitment to 134 posts of Junior Engineer (Agriculture) under the Directorate of Agriculture.
Online applications began on September 17, 2026, and candidates can apply until October 7, 2026. In this recruitment, 54 posts are reserved for the general category, 23 for Scheduled Castes, 1 for Scheduled Tribes, 43 for Other Backward Classes and 13 for the Economically Weaker Section.
To apply, candidates must have appeared in UPSSSC PET-2025 and meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. A three-year diploma in agricultural engineering has also been prescribed as a qualification.
At the time of application, candidates from all categories will have to pay an online processing fee of ₹25. A separate examination fee will be charged from candidates selected for the main examination. The last date for making corrections in the application has been stated as October 14, 2026.
Candidates can apply through the official UPSSSC website using their PET-2025 registration number. Before submitting the application, candidates should carefully check the official notification for details on educational qualifications, age limit and other conditions.
