CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Renowned Sitar Maestro Ustad Shahid Parvez Performs at RNTU Renowned sitar virtuoso Ustad Shahid Parvez graced the Sharda Auditorium at Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU) with his presence. The musical event titled ‘Jhankar’ was organized by the Tagore World Arts and Culture Center in collaboration with SPIC MACAY. Alongside his mesmerizing sitar performance, Ustad Parvez engaged with students, sharing insights into his musical journey and mastery of the sitar. He was accompanied on the tabla by Unmesh Banerjee.
The event was graced by the presence of AGU Director Aditi Chaturvedi Vats, Registrar Vijay Singh, senior music scholar Pandit Kiran Deshpande, Pro Vice-Chancellor Sangeeta Johri, and Director of the Tagore World Arts and Culture Center, Vinay Upadhyay.
