CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bhopal: Regional MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani on Friday performed the foundation-laying ceremony for various development works in Vaishali Nagar Colony of Ward 28 under the South-West Assembly constituency.
The works to be undertaken include beautification of Vaishali Nagar Park, paving blocks, acupressure tiles, an open gym, toilets and other facilities.
Addressing residents, Sabnani said the constituency has natural greenery as well as many attractive spots, along with several small and large parks. "Today we are performing the foundation ceremony for several facilities, including an open gym, for Vaishali Nagar Park. Once this construction is completed, local residents, especially children and the elderly, will get a place to play, exercise and sit peacefully. It will also enhance the beauty of the area," he said.
He urged residents to take collective responsibility for the area after the construction is completed and to maintain its beauty through voluntary labour whenever required.
Those present at the ceremony included BJP district general secretary Mukesh Rai, Assembly in-charge Raju Aneja, Mandal president Mukesh Dehade, Shailesh Lunawat, Hemant Chauhan, senior leader Santosh Brahmbhatt, Ramneta Singh, Rohit Jadhav, Dinesh Bharti, Rajkumari Sharma, Rajesh Mahawar, Sakku Govind Verma, Aneesh Khan, Kaushalya Rajak, Ram Ashudani, Bhanumati Chauhan and residents of Vaishali Nagar.
