CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In honor of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary, West Central Railway, Bhopal Division, is organizing Vigilance Awareness Week until November 3, 2024. This year’s theme is “Prosperity of the Nation through Integrity.”

As part of the observance, Divisional Railway Manager Devashish Tripathi administered an oath to rail officers and employees at the divisional office, committing them to work with integrity, transparency, and a commitment to eradicating corruption. Mr. Tripathi highlighted that the objective of this campaign is to raise vigilance and awareness about corruption among citizens. He emphasized using modern technology and adhering to deadlines to ensure transparency in work processes.

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria shared that, on this occasion, Senior Deputy General Manager and Chief Vigilance Officer Neeraj Kumar from the Jabalpur headquarters awarded Aniruddh Soni (Chief Ticket Inspector) and S.P. Sharma (Ticket Inspector) of the Bhopal Division’s Commercial Department for their exemplary work. These supervisors caught a fake Railway Board vigilance inspector at the Rani Kamlapati Railway Station, who was attempting to access VIP facilities by impersonating a Railway Board official.

The event was attended by Additional Divisional Railway Managers Rashmi Diwakar and Yogendra Baghel, Chief Project Manager K.L. Meena, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria, along with senior officials and other employees of the divisional office.
