Senior journalist Vijay Manohar Tiwari has assumed his new role as the Vice-Chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication. He was warmly welcomed by the university’s faculty, officials, and staff, who presented him with floral bouquets.

A Symbolic Beginning & University Visit

🌿 On this occasion, Tiwari planted a Rudraksha tree in the university’s Makhampuram campus garden as a symbolic gesture.

🏛️ He then toured the university campus, accompanied by Chandra Charu Tripathi (Director, NITTTR) and Mukesh Mishra (Director, Dattopant Thengadi Research Institute), who were present as special guests.

First Meeting with Department Heads

📌 In his first meeting with department heads at the Dronacharya Auditorium, Tiwari shared a thought-provoking line from Osho’s letter written in 1951:

“In my view, effort itself is achievement, and unwavering steps lead to the destination.”

📢 He emphasized the importance of a strong foundation over merely aiming for new heights, stating that a solid groundwork ensures lasting progress. He urged everyone to work collectively for the university’s growth.

Tiwari’s Journalism & Literary Excellence

✅ Vijay Manohar Tiwari is an alumnus of the university, having been the topper of the second batch (1992-93) of the Bachelor of Journalism (B.J.) program.

✅ With over two and a half decades of experience in both print and electronic media, he has worked across various journalistic roles.
