He clarified, “As the State President of Madhya Pradesh BJP, I urge all party leaders and workers not to respond or comment on such unfounded, factless, and deceptive claims. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia is a senior leader and respected minister in our party. The Scindia family has had a long-standing association with the BJP since the Jan Sangh era.”
Vijaypur By-Election Fought with Collective Leadership
Sharma emphasized that the Vijaypur by-election was contested with collective leadership and that BJP workers fought it with utmost strength, securing more votes than in the previous Assembly election. He stated, “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, the double-engine BJP government is committed to making Madhya Pradesh a golden state. The continuous development work being carried out in the state has troubled Congress, which is now trying to mislead the public.”
Congress Unable to Recover from Setback, Promoting False Narratives
The BJP State President further stated that Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia is a senior and respected leader of the BJP, with deep family ties to the party since the days of Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia, a founding member of Jan Sangh. He said, “By toppling the corrupt Kamal Nath-led Congress government, Jyotiraditya Scindia played a crucial role in establishing the BJP’s developmental and nationalist government in Madhya Pradesh. The Congress has still not recovered from the shock of losing power and is attempting to hide its incompetent leadership by propagating baseless and false narratives to confuse the public.”
