This marks a major step toward providing students with employment-oriented education and enhanced career opportunities.
The MoU was signed in the office of the Vice-Chancellor by Prof. Arpan Bhardwaj, Vice-Chancellor of Vikram University, and K. M. Sushindran, Global Leader of the Academic Alliance Group at TCS. Present on the occasion were TCS Regional Head Megha Agrawal, Registrar of Vikram University Anil Kumar Sharma, and Director of the School of Engineering and Technology, Sandeep Kumar Tiwari.
This significant achievement for Vikram University has been realized with the efforts of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. Following the success of the recently launched B.Tech Dairy Technology course, the university is now introducing the important B.Tech CSBS (Computer Science and Business Systems) program.
After the MoU signing, Prof. Arpan Bhardwaj and K. Sushindran visited the university, where the Vice-Chancellor shared insights about the institution’s historical legacy and present significance. The MoU aims to train students in alignment with real industry requirements.
Vice-Chancellor Bhardwaj remarked, “Our goal is not just to provide bookish knowledge but to impart education that directly leads to employment. This course combines expertise in information technology with business management skills, preparing students for the future.”
The new program integrates technical expertise in computer science with knowledge of business studies, equipping students to meet current and future industry needs. This partnership will help bridge the gap between academia and industry, offering students both technical and managerial skills.
University Executive Council members Rajesh Singh Kushwaha, Roop Pamnani, Varun Gupta, Sanjay Verma, Manjusha Mimrot, and Kusumlata Ningwal welcomed the MoU, stating that it is not only a milestone for students but also a major achievement for Ujjain and the surrounding region.
