CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Ujjain: Vikram University, Ujjain has become the first university in the state to conduct examinations on time and declare results promptly. Significantly, this university is located in the hometown of Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and has now earned the distinction of being the first in Madhya Pradesh to strictly adhere to the academic calendar timelines.
Upon assuming office in October 2024, Vikram University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Arpan Bhardwaj made declaring pending exam results his top priority. At the time of his appointment, results of the previous academic session had not yet been released. Prof. Bhardwaj took swift and serious action, resulting in the declaration of all pending results on October 27, 2024.
Furthermore:
Results of the Nov–Dec 2024 exams were declared by the second week of January 2025.
Results of the exams held in March 2025 were announced in the first week of May 2025 — before the new academic session began.
Thus, Vikram University became the first in the state to release all results before the new academic session commenced.
In the academic session 2024–25, the university declared:
Results for 13 undergraduate and 95 postgraduate examinations.
Out of nearly 170 CBCS-based exams, 165 results have already been declared.
Additional results for other exams under the session have also been published.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Arpan Bhardwaj stated that this achievement was possible due to the streamlining of the result declaration system and efficient coordination within departments. In May 2025, all undergraduate results (B.Com, B.Sc Home Science, BBA, BCA) and postgraduate results (MA, MSc, etc.) were released on time.
Prof. Bhardwaj emphasized that this success reflects the university’s commitment to the directive given by Hon’ble Governor Mangubhai Patel, who insisted on strict adherence to academic calendars and discipline in state universities. He also credited Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav for his continuous encouragement and guidance, which helped place the university in the forefront of academic excellence.
Under the CBCS system, Vikram University has released results for 108 exams covering faculties of Social Sciences, Science, Arts, Technology, and Technical Education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The evaluation process was conducted meticulously to ensure zero errors.
Registrar Anil Kumar Sharma noted that a time-bound system was enforced for timely result declaration, which was strictly followed.
Controller of Examinations Madanlal Jain added that organizing exams on time and declaring error-free results was a challenging task, successfully executed with seriousness and dedication.
