CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal/ Ujjain : A program on the theme “Indian Culture and Spirituality as an Inspiration for the Young Generation” was organized at the Shalaka Gallery of Samrat Vikramaditya University. On this occasion, Rajya Sabha MP and National Saint Bal Yogi Umeshnath Ji Maharaj graced the event as the Chief Guest, while the program was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor, Arpan Bhardwaj.
In his address, Saint Bal Yogi emphasized the importance of Indian culture, Sanatan Dharma, and the responsibilities of the younger generation. He stated that preserving Indian culture and Sanatan Dharma is the greatest need of the present time. Human life is rare and precious, and thus it must be used in the service of society and the nation. He urged the youth to stay connected to their roots, avoid negative influences, seek the guidance of gurus, take spiritual initiation, and give priority to quality in life. He also encouraged students to improve their daily routines by waking up early for studies, worshipping the Sun and Tulsi, and valuing good values over caste identities.

In his presidential address, Vice-Chancellor Arpan Bhardwaj said that Guru Umeshnath Maharaj made public welfare the foundation of his life. Despite a childhood full of struggles, he continuously worked to protect truth, love, and religion. Giving priority to social welfare over personal salvation became the core message of his life. He also contributed significantly to social upliftment.
On this occasion, NCC Coordinator Kania Meda, Head of the Department of Sociology Jyoti Upadhyay, and University Controller of Examinations D.D. Bediya were specially present on the stage. The program was conducted by student Tanmay Jain, and the vote of thanks was proposed by NSS Coordinator Shekhar Medamwar.
