CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: State-Level ‘Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025’ Concludes in Madhya Pradesh; Minister Parmar Motivates Youth

With a collective resolution to transform India into a developed nation by the centenary of independence in 2047, the two-day State-Level Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025 concluded in Madhya Pradesh. The closing ceremony took place at the Manasrovar Auditorium in the Vidhan Sabha building, focusing on topics like education, technological development, and national values.

Inder Singh Parmar, Minister for Higher Education, Technical Education, and AYUSH of Madhya Pradesh, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Addressing the youth, he called upon them to elevate India to global leadership through their actions.

He stated, “To make India a Vishwaguru (global leader), we must convert our ‘Revolution of Thought’ into a ‘Revolution of Action’. Every Indian must contribute through hard work and determination.” He urged young minds to draw inspiration from India’s rich civilization and knowledge traditions to rebuild the nation.

Minister Parmar also awarded students who delivered powerful speeches and encouraged them to share their ideas on national platforms. He emphasized the importance of promoting Indian languages under the National Education Policy 2020, announcing that Madhya Pradesh has drafted a new roadmap to enable students to engage in inter-state language communication.

Highlighting the need for self-reliance in solar energy, Minister Parmar expressed hope that by 2047, India would be in a position to support other countries in food and energy sectors. He underscored the vital role of student participation in achieving this vision.

Sidhi MLA Smt. Riti Pathak announced the names of the selected top speakers from the Youth Parliament:

1st Place: Ms. Sajal Jain from Indore District

2nd Place: Ms. Yati Sisodia from Bhind District

3rd Place: Ms. Rashi Tripathi from Satna District

These three students will represent Madhya Pradesh at the National Youth Parliament.

Other dignitaries present at the closing ceremony included MLA Ashish Govind Sharma, Principal Secretary of Vidhan Sabha A.P. Singh, Assembly Secretary Arvind Sharma, State NSS Officer Manoj Agnihotri, and Regional Director of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan Rakesh Singh Tomar, among others.

The event aimed to foster dialogue on 75 years of India’s Constitution, along with the rights, duties, and progress of the nation. A total of 200 young participants from 20 districts of Madhya Pradesh were selected to take part in this youth-led initiative.
