As part of the anniversary celebrations, Virbac India employees participated in a tree-planting initiative organised with Sahyog Foundation at Sanjay Gandhi National Park in Mumbai. The activity focused on increasing green cover and supporting biodiversity conservation, while also encouraging employee participation in environmental initiatives.
Virbac said its 20-year journey in India reflects the company’s broader commitment to animal health. The global Virbac Group was founded in France in 1968 and operates in more than 100 countries, providing solutions for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of animal diseases.
The company’s innovation activities span biologicals, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, pet food and pet care. Virbac’s global innovation model combines applied research, technological development, partnerships and a focus on the needs of veterinarians, farmers and pet owners.
The anniversary programme is being observed through a series of initiatives involving employees, families and the wider Virbac community. The company said these activities are intended to recognise its teams while reinforcing its focus on animal health, environmental responsibility and community engagement.
The celebrations also come at a time when Virbac is strengthening its biologicals portfolio in India. In 2026, former Globion India was renamed Virbac Biologicals following its full integration into the Virbac Group.
