CNN Central News and Network – ITDC India Epress / ITDC News Bhopal:A virtual meeting with freight customers was held under the chairmanship of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria. The main objective of the meeting was to encourage freight loading and discuss measures to increase railway revenue. Special emphasis was placed on the facilities proposed by the railways, where merchants were informed about various incentive schemes and facilities. These schemes aim to motivate merchants to transport more goods through the railways. The meeting also discussed issues faced by merchants in freight loading and transportation, and the railways assured that their problems would be resolved promptly.

It was also mentioned during the meeting that, under the guidance of the Divisional Railway Manager, the Business Development Unit (BDU) officials are making continuous efforts to encourage merchants to transport their goods through the railways. New measures and plans to further promote freight loading in the future were also discussed, including improved facilities for freight transportation and the use of digital technologies.

Saurabh Kataria urged merchants to transport their goods through the railways and take advantage of the facilities provided. The meeting was also attended by Divisional Commercial Manager (Goods) Pramod Kumar Tiwari and Assistant Operations Manager Alok Agrawal.
