CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Vishnudutt Sharma, State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party and Member of Parliament, listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s broadcast of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ along with party workers at the community hall located at Booth No. 159 of the Arera Mandal in the Madhya Assembly constituency. On this occasion, he also participated in a tree plantation drive under the campaign “One Tree in Mother’s Name.”
Speaking to the media, Sharma expressed pride over the Prime Minister’s appreciation of Suma Uikey from Balaghat, stating that her self-reliance through mushroom cultivation and animal husbandry is an inspiration for all women in the state.

He also praised the Jal Jeevan Mission and the global success of International Yoga Day, highlighting that due to Modi’s efforts, yoga has become a global tool for wellness and that the Jal Jeevan Mission has played a crucial role in preventing waterborne diseases caused by contaminated water.
Commenting on the topic of the Emergency, Sharma said that June 25, 1975, the day Emergency was imposed in India, is remembered as Constitution Murder Day. He found it exciting to hear the thoughts of Morarji Desai, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and Babu Jagjivan Ram on the Emergency in their own voices, as shared by the Prime Minister.
Sharma also informed that the BJP State President election process will be held on July 1-2, and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will visit Bhopal for the occasion.
