CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: “Addressing a workers’ conference in Amarwara, Chhindwara district, Vishnudutt Sharma, the State President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Member of Parliament from Khajuraho, emphasized that booth-level workers are the strength of the BJP. He credited their hard work and dedication for BJP’s historic victory in all 29 Lok Sabha seats in the state. He stated that Chhindwara is a stronghold of beneficiaries of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s welfare schemes, and these beneficiaries will secure a historic win for BJP in the Amarwara by-election. Sharma expressed confidence that BJP would win the Amarwara by-election with a margin of 51,000 votes, compared to the 15,000-vote margin in the Lok Sabha elections.
Sharma inaugurated the Amarwara by-election office and launched the ‘One Tree in the Name of Mother’ campaign by planting a sapling. The conference was also addressed by Chhindwara MP Vivek Bunty Sahu and party candidate Kamlesh Shah.
Emphasizing the importance of booth-level strength, Sharma urged workers to connect with every household and communicate the benefits of Modi’s welfare schemes and the achievements of BJP’s double-engine government. He highlighted that the booth workers’ efforts had led to BJP’s victory in all 29 Lok Sabha seats and called for a similar commitment in the by-election.
Sharma encouraged the workers to take a pledge to win every booth in Amarwara, mentioning that the constituency has 332 booths, and BJP had won around 200 of them in the Lok Sabha elections. He called on the workers to become the party’s candidates and work diligently to secure a historic victory for BJP.
Sharma promised that electing Kamlesh Shah as the MLA would lead to significant development in the Amarwara region, including providing drinking water and irrigation facilities. He mentioned the Ken-Betwa Link Project, which was approved with a budget of ₹44,600 crore to solve the water issues of Khajuraho and Bundelkhand.
