When Vivek was asked about Salman’s comments on trolling, he spoke about staying away from negativity. He said there are many positive things to do in life, so why get involved in negative matters.
Salman Khan had recently questioned the trolling and body-shaming of celebrities on social media during an episode of “Bigg Boss 20”. He said people should focus on their own lives and families instead of commenting on others’ bodies, age and personal lives.
Salman’s comments were also linked to the controversy over Katrina Kaif’s post-pregnancy body-shaming. However, Salman did not name Katrina in his statement. He said weight gain after pregnancy is normal and no woman should be trolled for it.
Vivek and Salman have also had an old public dispute dating back to 2003. Despite this, Vivek did not refer to that past controversy in his latest reaction and kept his focus on avoiding negativity and trolling on social media.
