CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Vice-Captain of the Indian Hockey Team and Bronze Medalist at the Tokyo and Paris Olympics, Vivek Sagar, today presented a special signed jersey of the Indian Hockey Team to the Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University, Santosh Choubey, under the guidance of District Sports Officer of Raisen, Jalaj Chaturvedi.

Chancellor Santosh Choubey expressed his gratitude to Vivek Sagar and congratulated him for his historic performance at the Olympics. He further stated that Vivek is not only an inspiration for our university but also for the youth of the entire nation. He has brought pride to both the state and the country, and the jersey he has presented is a symbol of that pride.

On this special occasion, the university’s Pro-Chancellor Aditi Chaturvedi Vats and Director of AIC-RNTU, Nitin Vats, expressed their happiness and stated that Vivek Sagar is a student of our university, continuously showcasing exceptional performance while representing India at the international level. The university takes pride in his dedication and success.

Also present on this occasion were the University Secretary Sangeeta Johri, OSD to Chairman Director Padmesh Chaturvedi, Deputy Secretary Sameer Chaudhary, Sports Officer Satish Ahirwar, and Public Relations Officer Vijay Pratap.
