CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) Bhopal’s Turiyanad Committee organized Vivekotsav ’25 with great dignity on the occasion of National Youth Day. The primary objective of the event was to propagate Swami Vivekananda’s inspiring ideas among the youth and instill values of morality, dedication, and positive energy.
The event commenced at 7 AM in the MANIT sports complex with a collective yoga session, enthusiastically attended by around 500 participants. The session was graced by Chief Guests Ashutosh Singh Thakur, Director of the Young Thinkers Forum, and Manoj Pathak, Program Head of Vivekananda Kendra, Bhopal. They inspired the youth by shedding light on Swami Vivekananda’s philosophy and ideals. During the yoga session, students learned the importance of maintaining mental and physical balance.
In the evening session, several creative and inspiring activities were organized at Vivekananda Kendra, Bhopal. These included discussions, interactive sessions, literature gallery exploration, Deepotsav (lamp lighting), and Bharat Mata Puja.
The discussion session featured Amitabh Shrivastava, Divisional Coordinator of Jan Abhiyan Parishad and Convener of the Environmental Conservation Activity Department, as the chief guest. In his address, he highlighted Swami Vivekananda’s intellectual strength and explained the importance of ideas in shaping youth lives. Bharat Mata Puja and Deepotsav created an atmosphere of devotion and dedication, energizing all attendees. Guests and participants engaged in discussions about Swami Vivekananda’s ideals and pledged to incorporate them into their lives.
The literature gallery showcased inspirational books and thoughts related to Swami Vivekananda.
Vivekotsav ’25 not only served as a source of inspiration for the youth but also motivated them to work toward bringing positive changes in society.
