CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of Basant Panchami, Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication (MCU) will host a poetry class titled “Kavya ka Panchamrit”, featuring five of India’s renowned poets. The young generation of accomplished poet Ramayanadhar Dwivedi will be joined by Dr. Suresh from Lucknow, Masoom Ghaziabadi from Ghaziabad, Rajesh Sharma from Gwalior, and Suraj Rai Suraj from Jabalpur. On the occasion of the birth anniversary of the great poet Suryakant Tripathi ‘Nirala’, Vinay Upadhyay Nirala will present the musical essence of his words.

Dr. Pavitra Srivastava, MCU’s Media Officer, stated that since this day also marks the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, patriotism will be the central theme of the class. For the first time on the MCU campus, popular poets from various platforms are coming together. They will demonstrate how a poet or shayar can convey in just two lines—using carefully chosen ten to twelve words—what thousands of words in essays, editorials, or even a two-hour prime-time show cannot.

This poetry class, aimed at teaching the art of words, will serve as the first offering of the new semester, welcoming students from across the country to MCU. A block-level meeting was organized at the local rest house in Berasia, Bhopal. During the meeting, Bhopal Division Coordinator of the Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad, Varun Acharya, discussed the action plan for the Jal Ganga Conservation Campaign and water conservation with all the Navankur institutions. He also provided detailed information about the proposed activities under the upcoming Jal Ganga Conservation Campaign and held an in-depth discussion on the future course of action.

District Coordinator Kokila Chaturvedi conducted a thorough review of the work carried out by all participants and provided necessary guidance.

Following the meeting, a Water Dialogue program was organized in village Virahashyamkhedi in collaboration with the Gram Vikas Prasphutan Samiti. On this occasion, all villagers and members present were administered a water conservation pledge.

At the conclusion of the program, a plan for voluntary labor (shramdaan) was prepared at the Virahashyamkhedi dam to support water conservation efforts, ensuring participation from all stakeholders.

On this occasion, Block Coordinator Tina Sharma, all Navankur representatives, mentors, and members of the Gram Vikas Prasphutan Samiti were present.
