CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Water Resources Minister Tulsi Ram Silawat has directed that all ongoing irrigation projects in the state be completed within the stipulated timeline, with special attention to quality. Senior departmental officials have been instructed to prepare detailed action plans to ensure timely completion and to review project progress every 15 days. Regular physical inspections of the projects should also be conducted.

Minister Silawat was reviewing the ongoing irrigation projects of Bhopal Kachhar at the Ministry, including:

Parvati-Suthalia Project in Rajgarh District

Kanyakhedi Medium Irrigation Project in Sehore District

Seep Amber Phase 1 & 2

Tem Medium Irrigation Project in Vidisha District

Gwaltoria Medium Irrigation Project in Guna District

The total cost of these projects is estimated to exceed ₹50 crore. Upon completion, these projects will provide additional irrigation facilities for approximately 1.5 lakh hectares across Rajgarh, Vidisha, and Sehore districts.

The meeting was attended by Rajesh Rajoura, Additional Chief Secretary of the Water Resources Department, Chief Engineer Vinod Kumar Devda, other senior officials, and representatives from the relevant construction agencies.
