CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal : Under the joint aegis of Raisen Police and the NCC and NSS units of Rabindranath Tagore University, Raisen, a successful week-long de-addiction campaign was conducted. The theme of the campaign was “Stay Away from Drugs, It’s Essential.” Activities included public awareness rallies, lectures, short film screenings, poster-making, and reel-making competitions.

The closing ceremony was graced by IG Mithilesh Kumar Shukla, DIG Prashant Khare, SP Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Yogendra Purohit, Rajeev Agrawal, Sangeeta Johri, SDOP Sheela Surana, and several senior district officials. The guests highlighted the harmful effects of drug addiction and urged youth to lead a positive, drug-free life.

As part of the campaign, an awareness rally was held in Hinoti village, short films were screened in schools and colleges, and awareness was spread through human chains. Anti-drug films were showcased by the university, with a special highlight being a short film directed by IPS Varun Kapoor.

At the end of the event, SP Pankaj Kumar Pandey administered the oath for a drug-free India to all attendees. The program was conducted by NSS officer Gabbar Singh, and coordinated by Sub-Lieutenant Manoj Singh Manral, who also extended the vote of thanks.

In the poster competition, Nisha Patel, Rituraj, and Palak Meena emerged as winners, while Kriti Singh, Kundan Kumar, and Rajkumar Gurjar won awards in the reel-making competition. Students, teachers, villagers, and police personnel actively participated in the campaign.
